I have worked in classrooms at local elementary and high schools since I was sixteen, either as a volunteer or at university practicums. Also, I am currently accepted into the Trinity Western University Bachelor of Education program for 2013/14. I want to be a tutor because I love teaching and want to provide extra help to students who cannot receive this help in the classroom. During my degree, I have taken many education courses: assessment for learning, curriculum planning, social issues in education, teaching exceptional learners (special needs), philosophy of education and classroom management. Finally, most summers since I was in high school, I have worked at ESL summer schools programs either as a classroom assistant, activity assistant or, last summer, as a ESL teacher.
